Each year our final meeting of the year in December is our Top Shot Night where members can enter their best digital and print images to be considered by our special guest Judge as the one image that stands out above all else to be selected and awarded ‘Top Shot of the Year’.

To Shot of the Year 'Burra Canola' - Photographer Christine Maidment.
This image was taken at Burra in SA. We had visited there 3 yrs ago when the state was in drought, so it was very pleasing to see it so green and with a canola field in the distance. I was lucky enough too get the sun peaking out through rain clouds and shine upon the canola. It is a panorama made from 3 images: I used an Olympus OMD EM1-ii with the 12-100mm zoom @38mm, iso 320, f 8.0, 1/250 sec hand held.
